Syriana - check it out.
Watched this interesting film last night. You have Clooney, Damon, Plummer and Wright. There is three main stories with Clooney the CIA operative, Damon the energy/financial expert and Wright a lawyer charged with heading up an investigation into the joining of two large oil companies and Damon as an adviser to elder son of one of the Persian Kings.
Interesting insight into the how the Persian/Arab and Western peoples do business.
I do not want to turn this into a political debate but this film is certainly worth a look.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Someone needs to explain the pool scene to me.
How could this happen?

It's a great film. Saw it at the cinema. Everyone was whincing at the "fingernail" scene. It's a pity more films like this aren't made.

Thats a bit of a mystery. But the younger prince was messing about with the remote control and possibly caused a short or maybe it was done on purpose. Wasn't explained at all.

I should say there was actually a fourth story concerning a young Pakistani boy and how he was recruited into becoming a suicide bomber.

Faulty Saudi wiring. There evidently was no ground fault hooked into the pool so when the pool light busted it electrified the water. I'm not sure if this can really happen though.... any electricians here?
