Not so much "worked up", just highly amused. As I am about the whole thing. I usually don't give two flips about trials and even less about celebrity trials...but I saw one video and knew I had to at least keep track of all the funnies. It's laughable and amusing, to say the least.

I doubt DC would go to all the effort/expense to re_film using another actress. If there is an Aquaman 3, i doubt DC will sign up Heard for a 3rd time. Win or Loose against Depp, her reputation off camera sounds rather ugly. Amber Heard lied about donating Johnny Depp’s $7 million divorce settlement. Maybe she blew some of the cash on $500 bottles of wine, she grew a taste for while with Depp.

If she losses, they'll definitely cut her out the movie. They just can't afford to lose the ticket sales. If she survives the Trial they might leave her in, but they'll find a way to write her out of any future pictures.

I just don't see how she can bounce back from this.

Apparently there was a test screening of AM2 in the last week or two and a lot of people who claimed to have seen it have corroborated that Mera only has about 10 minutes of screen time.

While that would certainly make recasting and reshooting those scenes relatively cheaper and easier, I'm most bummed that the character herself is so marginalized.

While this'll make Heard haters happier, my anticipation for it has plummeted.
Fortunately the character is a big part of the first film so I guess I should take heart that I'll always have that to enjoy.
