Breyfogle Batman B&W? Ever?
This seems like such an obvious, must-choice for this line. I'm surprised DC hasn't commissioned this yet (or have they and did I miss it?).

If I am not mistaken there was a falling out between DC and Breyfoygle years ago hence his absence in the comics.
I know it was mentioned here on SF as well.
Having said that I think that a Breyfoygle, Sprang and Daniels could be used to wrap up the line for myself.

Wow, if true then that's too bad. I had no idea there was a falling out between DC and Norm. A shame. A statue based on his art would be killer.

Apparently something was said during a con panel and he was banned from the ranch. I don't know the particulars, and would love to hear from someone in the know.
There's also not a lot of love for Balent at DC, but they're still making a Catwoman bust in his style. Odd.

I think that that is more a case of the character and that costume's popularity. With all the WotDCU product out there and how well Catwoman sells they will have to take whatever they can from the pantry.
Having said that Balent was easily one of the best "Bat" artists of the 90's. Catwoman always had such great art during his run and the few times Batman appeared in that book were such treats.

It's bizarre to see his style on 'Archie' now...

The fact that Balent got kicked off the ranch when he was only a few issues away from a 100 issue run on Catwoman is criminal in my opinion. Unfortunately DC is rife with political intrigue and infighting, so he LOST. In comes Darwin Cooke, who like Ross, is a talented but grossly overrated "golden child" at DC, so we end up with "Johnny Quest Goggles Woman," a character redesign that is a clear step down.
Anyway, this thread is about Norm Breyfogle. You can pretty much bank on never seeing a B&W in his style, as long as certain key figures are in place at DC. Shame.
