I have the Hot Toys 1/4 Mark VI bust. And I just preordered the upcoming Iron Man 3's Mark XLVII (or is it XLII?)bust.

It looks great, if you don't mind it's plastic.

If you didn't hold it, even up close, the effect is great. It looks it could pass off as Iron Man metal. The paint, or Iron Man red color is very even. Same goes for the gold and silver. Very nicely done. Smooth. Like you like it to look like on metal surface although this is plastic.

And unlike the usual complaints by some of the Iron Man PVC figures by Kotobukiya, the red color is not too dark. It's not too bright. Just about right.

All the details , nuances and grooves of the armor are well sculpted.

But, if you held it in your hands, it's very very light.
The armor is mostly hollow.

For me, I don't mind. In fact, I wish Hot Toys would do more 1/4 scale busts. They have stopped doing the human character ones or monsters. I also have their 1/4 busts of

1)Batman
2)Joker
3)Alien

I was hoping they'd give me a 1/4 bust of Scarlett Johannson as Black Widow. Alas, no such luck.
