is this supposed to be an animated version with the original characters?

I really hope its traditional animation and not freakin CG like everything else in this day and age

the cartoon that ran in the 80's was one of the greatest cartoons ever, I hope its similar to that, I grew up on that show

Most likely the original team. No way this is going to be traditional animation, it's bound to CG all the way. But it would be awesome if they choose to go with traditional animation and surprise fans with their approach. Perhaps they will go with digital 2D animation.

Ugh i hate cg animation, so souless. I pity kids these days. If i ever have kids the only cartoons theyll watch are my dvds of old good animated cartoons, not the brain melting garbage they give kids these days

lol same here, ive been trying to assemble an collection of cartoons ive loved - some 80's cartoons are on my list but I want to find some high quality versions (ninja turtles, ghost busters, gi joe, transformers etc.)

the sad thing is kids don't even know what theyre missing, this is all they know - like you though my kids will know better
