Witchblade: Now with more armor!

Y'know, I was hesitant to even tweak this in Photoshop. I'm a huge fan of Clayburn Moore's work. There are very few sculptors out there who can bring to life the subtle curves, allure and attitude of the female body through sculpture, but Clay hits it out of the park with every sculpt he tackles.

THAT being said, although I'll most likely order the new Witchblade, the fact that she's practically nude definitely doesn't feel like the character. I know, I know, Sarah Pezzini is usually depicted in a series of EXTREME undress with the Witchblade barely covering the unmentionables, but this statue REALLY skirts the line. It's a beautiful sculpt of a beautiful character, but one with more Armor, now THAT'S Witchblade

It was the only thing holding me back from getting one. If a version with more armor came out I'd get it in a heart beat.

Something like that would improve the piece IMO, great job.

The way she looks now she comes off looking like she's in her underwear with socks on.

I think Clay's intention with the new armour Witchblade was to show the extent of his talent as a sculptor of the female form. I think he's done that in spades.

I agree, but IMO She Dragon showed that already. Personally I don't think there's any question that Clay stands alone when it comes to sculpting the females.
