The Fantasy Football Advisor
I'm sure a lot of us play FF so I thought it would be nice to have a thread where people can solicit advice on lineup questions, possible trades, etc.
For instance, he is a WR dilemma I have just about every week. I've got 6 fairly solid guys, but none of them are really "must-plays" so I end up trying to play matchups each week. I can only play 3:
Wes Welker vs Den (good matchup)
Eddie Royal vs NE
Santana Moss vs CLE (cooled off lately but good matchup)
Bernard Berrian vs. DET (hot lately and great matchup)
Marvin Harrison vs Green Bay
Lance Moore vs Carolina
Any thoughts?

Eddie Royal vs NE If he is healthy, he and Marshal will do well.
Bernard Berrian vs. DET Detroit is just so bad, and with Roy WIlliams gone they have thrown in the towel
Marvin Harrison vs Green Bay GB secondary giving up some good production, and Peyton found him twice last week for TD's

I made a mistake...Berrian is actually playing Chicago. I still think that's a good matchup, though...revenge-factor against his former team.

I have 4 FF teams, and I swear one of them is almost identical to your WR corps!
I still don't know how healthy and effective Eddie Royal will be this week. If I had to choose 3 I'd go with Harrison (if their running game is hurting with Addai out and Rhodes starting, a control passing game might favor Dallas Clark and Harrison), Welker (Every WR puts up numbers against Den), and Berrian (will look to play up against his old team).

I have been wavering between Welker & Harrison. Welker is solid w/ catches (my league is 1 pt/catch) but his yardage is minimal and he hasn't scored even once this year. Seems that Bellicheat won't let Cassel throw more than 10 yards down the field.
Royal practiced wed & thurs so I think he will be fine on MNF. They said he technically could have played last week. As a Broncos fan I wish he would have.

Yeah, without Brady Welker still gets plenty of looks per game, but rarely is he an end zone target.

This is a good idea for a thread. I could have used this last week.

Berrian, Harrison, and Royal if he plays.
The Pats are done this season. If you aren't in a keeper league, dump 'em all! Welker won't do much against the so-far-crappy Broncos pass D.
As for whether or not to start McGahee, the answer is simple: Don't. Easily the most over-rated back in fantasty football. Le'Ron is the man there now and with Ray Rice waiting in the wings, don't be surprised if McGahee becomes next season's Shaun Alexander.

LenDale White @ Chiefs
Adrian Peterson @ Bears
Mewelde Moore @ Bengals
DeAngelo Williams vs. Saints
